March demanding scrapping of SIR, resignation of CEC held in Puducherry

Representatives of various Left-leaning organisations on Friday took out a march in Puducherry to oppose the Special Intensive Revision exercise and to demand the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar for his alleged role in the subversion of the electoral process in the country.The march, which commenced from Raj Theatre junction after passing through Anna Salai and S.V. Patel Salai culminated near Mission Street.

They raised slogans demanding immediate scrapping of SIR and resignation of Mr. Kumar.
