CJP Leaders Arrested Over Jantar Mantar Breach Bid; Face Trespass Charges

Three Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) leaders—Saurav Das, Ashutosh Ranka, and Ajinkya Shinde—have been placed under preventive arrest following a flash protest and an attempt to breach the de-notified protest site at Jantar Mantar. The leaders were seen scaling locked gates and barricades via Janpath Lane to gain access to the restricted area. Delhi Police have pressed trespassing charges against them and are probing whether they violated a one-year peace bond and Rs 50,000 surety signed during a previous detention ahead of planned demonstrations against the Chief Election Commissioner. The leaders will be produced before a magistrate.
