Centre Cuts Cancer Drug Rates; Supreme Court Asks Why Cap Isn't Expanded

The central government has revised maximum retail prices for 543 anti-cancer drug brands following a 30 per cent trade margin cap imposed by the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority, with generic and biosimilar medicines seeing cuts of up to 93 per cent taking effect from November 9.
