Four family members of YSRCP senior leader and Opposition leader in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council Botcha Satyanarayana filed nomination papers for four Zilla Parishad Territorial Constituencies (ZPTCs) in Vizianagaram district on Friday (October 23, 2026).Mr. Satyanarayana’s daughter, Anusha, who is the YSRCP Bhimili in-charge, has filed her nomination for the Bondapalli ZPTC seat of the Gajapatinagaram Assembly segment, which is represented by the Minister of MSME Kondapalli Srinivas.
She has been actively taking part in party activities for the last couple of months, alongside her father.Meanwhile, Mr. Satyanarayana’s daughter-in-law, Poojitha, wife of Dr.
Sandeep, filed nomination papers for the Garividi ZPTC seat. His sister Lakshmi will contest the Gurla ZPTC seat, and Botcha’s family member Chaitanya has filed nomination papers for the Pusapatirega segment.Mr.
Satyanarayana has been monitoring the nomination and campaign process for all 27 ZPTC members and the contesting candidates for 449 Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituencies (MPTCs) in the district. Speaking to media here, he said that the party would replicate the victory of 2021 local body elections.
