They have also approached Swarup Nagar police station, seeking an FIR against the influencer.According to the organisers, Anjali was paid Rs 2.75 lakh for the event, while the agreed fee was Rs 3 lakh. They claim that the incident prompted sponsors to withhold their payments, causing them a financial loss of around Rs 20 lakh.

The legal notice seeks compensation for the alleged financial loss as well as the claimed damage to their social and professional reputation and the mental distress they say they suffered.According to senior advocate Karim Ahmed Siddiqui, who is representing the organisers, Nagada Nights was held at Lajpat Bhawan Lawn in Kanpur on October 15. The organisers allegedly transferred a total of Rs 2.75 lakh to different bank accounts. They also covered the air travel, accommodation and food expenses of Anjali and four members of her team.

The organisers further alleged that Anjali arrived at Kanpur airport at around 4 pm on October 15 but refused to leave the airport until the outstanding Rs 75,000 was paid. According to their account, she left the airport with her team only after the remaining amount was paid.According to Siddiqui, Anjali's performance was scheduled between 9 pm and 9.45 pm.

However, she took the stage at around 9.45 pm. The organisers alleged that she performed for approximately 12 minutes before an argument broke out with her management team, following which she left the event.

They claimed that the incident angered the sponsors, who subsequently withheld the full payment. The organisers estimate their resulting financial loss at around Rs 20 lakh.

They also alleged that the controversy damaged their business reputation and caused them mental distress.Siddiqui said that if the police do not register an FIR on the basis of their complaint, the organisers will approach senior police officials.
