Tiger Shroff's attackers captured in Rajasthan, Mumbai cops seek transit remand

Assailants opened fire at Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff's car in Mumbai's Juhu area on Sunday evening as he departed from a football venue. Tiger Shroff escaped without gunshot injuries, while his driver Firdaus and autorickshaw driver Umesh Chavan sustained injuries. Images showing the actor in bandages prompted medical clarification regarding close-range gunpowder burns, soot exposure, and superficial lacerations from shattered car window glass. Forensic ballistics investigators recovered five spent shell casings and two live cartridges from the scene. A joint operation by Mumbai Police and Rajasthan Police led to the interception and arrest of three suspects, including a juvenile, at Kota Railway Station during an escape attempt toward Nepal. Preliminary interrogation linked the shooters to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, specifically handlers Anil Pandit and Harman Sandhu directing extortion operations from abroad. The investigation highlights gang operations directed from Sabarmati Central Jail, extortion rackets targeting film celebrities, and legal protocols governing custodial questioning.
