(Photo- PTI) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay will chair the third meeting of his Cabinet at the Secretariat in Chennai on Thursday, October 29, with key industrial projects, investment proposals, welfare schemes and infrastructure development expected to feature on the agenda.The meeting is scheduled to begin at 10.30 am and is likely to focus on proposals aimed at boosting the state's economic growth and attracting investments.
Projects related to Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) are also expected to be taken up for discussion.The Cabinet is likely to consider new legislation and amendments to existing laws ahead of the next Tamil Nadu Assembly session, which is anticipated to be held before the end of 2026.The meeting is also expected to review the implementation of welfare schemes outlined in the 'Vetri Tamizhagam Vision Document'. Infrastructure projects currently under way across the state may also come up for discussion.
