Rahul Gandhi Attacks Centre Over Tamil Nadu, BJP Dismisses NEET & Funds Allegations

A political war of words erupted following Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's address at the Chhatron Ki Goonj event in Chennai. Gandhi alleged that the central government is attacking Tamil language and culture, pointing to 3,300 crore rupees being withheld under the new education policy, an 87 percent fall in Tamil-medium students' share of MBBS seats due to NEET, vacancies in state university vice-chancellor posts, and delimitation. Hitting back, the Bharatiya Janata Party called the allegations baseless and unfounded, asserting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has consistently respected the Tamil language and elevated it across national and international forums.
