On the occasion of Vijayadashami, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat addressed the nation, highlighting the need for collective strength and vigilance. Prime Minister Modi urged all political parties and institutions to unite under the Nation First philosophy, calling on citizens to identify and defeat divisive elements that undermine national dignity and culture. He emphasised self-reliance, hard work, and collective resolve to solve challenges. Meanwhile, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat warned against external attempts to destabilise societies through regime change agendas, pointing to global turmoil across multiple nations. Bhagwat stated that forces hostile to cultural values seek to target India and dismantle societal cohesion, often finding support among ambitious politicians and divisive elements domestically. He stressed that while protests are a part of democracy, they must remain focused on solutions without creating division, discord, or hatred within society.
