No permission, no protection: Calcutta HC rejects CPI(M)'s plea to stop bookstall removal

The Calcutta High Court rejected the CPIM's plea for protection against the removal of its Durga Puja bookstall near Kolkata's Jadavpur Coffee House Justice Partha Pratim Roy ruled that the party could not seek judicial relief without proving it had permission to operate the stall which the court noted had not been granted
