UPDATED: Nov 5, 2026 09:08 ISTA fresh war of words has broken out between DMK leader MK Stalin and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay. Stalin accused Vijay of pushing the state to rock bottom in just five months, calling him a weak chief minister and targeting the TVK government over alleged rising crime, economic deterioration, and lack of action.
Stalin further claimed that TVK workers were involved in crimes and corruption while ministers were busy making reels. He also alleged that projects completed by the DMK were merely being inaugurated by the current government.

Vijay clarified that his remarks were not directed at preparing for the 2029 elections, advising students to focus on education, build successful lives, and then contribute to society and Tamil Nadu.
