Overall, Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza has killed at least 74,609 Palestinians and wounded 175,872 others.The latest attacks came amid efforts to secure shelter for displaced Palestinians ahead of winter.Israeli Army Radio reported that Nickolay Mladenov, the high representative of the Board of Peace – established by the US to oversee a so-called peace plan in Gaza – arrived in Israel on Monday to seek permission to bring in tents and push for steps to accelerate reconstruction.The scale of the need in Gaza remains vast. The United Nations migration agency said on October 9 that nearly 2 million people required shelter assistance and half of Gaza’s tents and makeshift shelters needed replacing, leaving families exposed as winter approached.
