Bengaluru Police will register an FIR over the digitally manipulated clip, reportedly shared by an Instagram user operating the account ‘jnx_king_h_g’. The video depicts a fictional bomb attack on Vidhana Soudha, the seat of the Karnataka legislature, making it appear as though the government building has been blown apart. The post reportedly carried a caption claiming that the uploader had blown up Vidhana Soudha with a bomb. The Instagram account has since been deactivated. The video has raised concerns over the misuse of artificial intelligence to create realistic-looking footage of attacks on prominent public buildings.
